ARTICLE 1 – L’ORGANISATEUR
Le Labo des histoires, association loi 1901 dont le siège social est situé à Paris (75003), 161 rue Saint-Martin, immatriculé au Répertoire des Entreprises et des Établissements sous le SIRER 538 990 771 00031, organise un concours intitulé « ENCORE ! ».
Le concours est organisé en partenariat avec le Théâtre de la Ville et le Paris Université Club. Pour la mise en œuvre opérationnelle du concours, les partenaires du concours s’appuient sur le Labo des histoires et ses partenaires en France et à l’étranger.
ARTICLE 2 – DURÉE DU CONCOURS
Le concours se déroulera du 26 septembre 2023 à 00h01 (Europe/Paris, CEST) au 12 février 2024 à 23h59 (Europe/Paris, CEST).
La date de réception des textes par le Labo des histoires sera déterminée par les informations relatives à l’heure et à la date enregistrées par le serveur lors du dépôt du texte par le participant sur la page internet du concours.
ARTICLE 3 – OBJET ET THÈME DU CONCOURS
Le concours d’écriture « ENCORE !» est organisé par le Labo des histoires, dans le cadre des Jeux olympiques et paralympiques de Paris 2024, afin d’initier et de promouvoir la pratique de l’écriture créative et de recueillir les témoignages sportifs et poétiques de jeunes et d’adultes à travers le monde.
Le thème proposé aux participants est le suivant :
ENCORE ! : Dans un message court et percutant que vous voulez voir affiché dans les rues de Paris pendant les JOP 2024, dites-nous les manières dont votre CORPS incarne l’espoir, la lutte, l’effort, la persévérance, la performance, la blessure, etc.
ARTICLE 4 – OBJECTIFS
Les objectifs du concours sont de :
- promouvoir le goût de la langue et de la poésie chez les enfants, les adolescents et les adultes à travers le monde
- familiariser le public à l’écriture créative ;
- favoriser l’intérêt des jeunes de chaque pays pour le sport.
ARTICLE 5 – LES SOUTIENS AU CONCOURS
Ce concours est organisé par le Labo des histoires avec le soutien du Théâtre de la Ville, du Paris Université Club et de la Mairie de Paris. En France, le concours bénéficie du soutien de la RATP, du CROUS, du Red Star Football Club et de la Fédération française des clubs omnisports. À l’international, il bénéficie du soutien de l’Institut Français de Paris, des partenaires du Réseau « Writing our World », de NOMAD EDUCATION et de structures culturelles et associatives variées.
ARTICLE 6 – CONDITIONS DE PARTICIPATION
Le concours est ouvert à toute personne physique, sans aucune restriction d’âge, de nationalité ou d’implantation géographique.
La participation au concours est libre, individuelle et gratuite. La participation est exclusivement numérique et doit obligatoirement être réalisée sur le site Internet du Labo des histoires. En validant leur participation, les participants acceptent que leurs textes soient diffusés au grand public à l’oral, sous format numérique ou papier, publiés sur le site internet du Labo des histoires et des partenaires ou dans un recueil des textes des lauréats.
La participation au concours implique l’acceptation irrévocable et sans réserve des termes et conditions du présent règlement.
La participation au concours est strictement personnelle et nominative.
Le non-respect des conditions de participation énoncées dans le présent règlement entraînera la nullité de la participation du Participant.
ARTICLE 7 – MODALITÉS DE PARTICIPATION
Les participants soumettent leur texte directement sur la page internet dédiée au concours : https://labodeshistoires.com/concours/concours-encore/ ou bien en téléchargeant leur texte sur la page du concours au format pdf.
Format du texte
Chaque version du texte (français et langue maternelle) doit faire entre 100 et 250 caractères, espaces comprises.
Langue
La participation doit se faire en français et dans la langue maternelle ou le dialecte du choix du participant. Les deux textes doivent être similaires dans leur contenu, la version française doit correspondre à la version en langue maternelle. Les textes ne concordant pas ne pourront être retenus.

Les informations suivantes sont requises pour pouvoir participer au concours et doivent être renseignées sur le site internet du concours :

ARTICLE 8 – CRITÈRES DE SÉLECTION DES TEXTES
Les contributions au concours seront jugées à l’aune de la créativité littéraire, de l’originalité des idées et enfin de la pertinence à l‘égard de la question posée (et explicitée dans le dossier d’accompagnement) dont les participants auront fait preuve. Tous les textes envoyés sont vérifiés contre le plagiat et les citations incorrectes (en n’importe quelle quantité) d’œuvres tierces à l’aide de services en ligne permettant de vérifier l’unicité des textes.
Nous attirons l’attention des candidats sur le fait qu’un nombre minimal de fautes de frappe et d’erreurs est admissible. Un travail contenant, de l’avis des membres du jury, un nombre excessif d’erreurs syntaxiques et (ou) grammaticales, peut être retiré du concours.
ARTICLE 9 – MISE EN ŒUVRE DE LA SÉLECTION DES TEXTES
Les textes du concours sont transmis directement via le site internet du Labo des histoires. Ce dernier vérifie la concordance des deux langues (français et langue maternelle) et le respect de la consigne de longueur (maximum 250 caractères espaces comprises). Les textes ne répondant pas aux critères de validité ne pourront pas être sélectionnés.
L’équipe du Labo des histoires effectue une première sélection des textes et présente les finalistes au jury national qui sera composé des représentants des partenaires du concours, du Labo des histoires, du Paris Université Club et du Théâtre de la ville.
A l’issue du concours, une sélection de textes sera affichée dans l’espace public à Paris.

ARTICLE 10 – LAURÉATS
Les textes des participants retenus dans la phase de présélection seront publiés sur le site internet du Labo des histoires.
Les lauréats retenus dans la dernière phase de sélection verront leurs textes affichés en français et dans leur langue maternelle dans l’espace public lors des Jeux olympiques et paralympiques de Paris 2024.
ARTICLE 11 – DÉSIGNATION DES LAURÉATS
Les lauréats seront informés par e-mail.
ARTICLE 12 – DIFFUSION DES TEXTES
Les organisateurs du concours se réservent le droit de diffuser des textes via : l’édition d’un recueil, les médias ou les moyens de communication des organisateurs et partenaires du concours. Ces publications ne pourront faire l’objet d’une quelconque rémunération.
CESSION DE DROIT D’AUTEUR SUR LES TEXTES RÉALISÉS LORS DES ATELIERS
Je cède, par la présente, à l’Association Le Labo des histoires, ainsi qu’à ses partenaires et ses représentants, l’ensemble des droits d’auteurs attachés aux productions écrites qui seront réalisées. La cession comprend l’ensemble des droits d’auteur et notamment les droits de reproduire, représenter, numériser, dupliquer, imprimer ou enregistrer, publier, diffuser, adapter et modifier les productions écrites sur tous supports actuels ou futurs, et notamment sur support papier, informatique, numérique, en tous formats et afin de permettre à l’Association de promouvoir ses ateliers et de les diffuser. La Cession est valable pour tous les pays pendant toute la durée de la protection accordée aux auteurs par les législation française et étrangères et est consentie à titre gratuit.
ARTICLE 13 – DÉPOT DU RÈGLEMENT, LITIGES
La participation au concours implique l’acceptation pleine et entière du présent règlement. Il est disponible pendant toute la durée du concours sur le site internet du concours. Les participants au concours fournissent leur accord pour le traitement automatisé des données à caractère personnel et au transfert des droits non exclusifs sur les textes envoyés aux organisateurs du concours. Tout litige concernant l’interprétation ou l’application du présent règlement sera tranché souverainement par les organisateurs. Le Labo des histoires se réserve le droit pour quelque raison que ce soit, de modifier, prolonger, écourter, suspendre ou annuler le concours sans préavis, sans que sa responsabilité soit engagée de ce fait. Aucun dédommagement ne pourra être demandé par les joueurs.
ARTICLE 14 – PUBLICITÉ
Ce règlement, les adresses de contact, les actualités du concours sont publiés sur le site www.labodeshistoires.com et sur toutes autres plateformes que l’organisateur jugera utile.
ARTICLE 15 – INFORMATIQUE ET LIBERTÉ
Conformément aux dispositions de la loi fédérale n° 152 du 27 juillet 2006 relatives aux données à caractère personnel, les participants ont le droit d’accéder à leurs données et de les modifier. Les participants qui souhaitent que leurs données soient retirées de la liste et ne soient pas transférées à des tiers doivent envoyer leur demande par écrit à l‘adresse suivante : Labo des histoires, 161 rue Saint-Martin, 75003 PARIS, France.
Conformément aux dispositions de l’article 26 de la Loi n°78-17 du 6 janvier 1978 relative à l’informatique, aux fichiers et aux libertés, les participants français bénéficient d’un droit d’accès et de rectification des données les concernant et peuvent demander par simple lettre que leurs coordonnées soient radiées de cette liste et ne soient plus communiquées à des tiers à l‘adresse suivante : Labo des histoires, 161 rue Saint-Martin, 75003 PARIS, France.

Rules of the “ENCORE!” writing competition
ARTICLE 1 – THE ORGANISER
The “ENCORE!” competition is organised by Le Labo des histoires, an association governed by the French law of 1901, headquartered at 161 rue Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris and registered with the French Registry of Companies and Establishments under the SIRET number 538 990 771 00031.
The competition is organised in partnership with the Théâtre de la Ville and the Paris Université Club. The operational side is managed by Le Labo des histoires and its partners in France and abroad.
ARTICLE 2 – DURATION OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will run from 00:01 (Europe/Paris, CEST) on 26 September 2023 to 23:59 (Europe/Paris, CEST) on 12 February 2024.
The date and time of reception of the texts will be determined by Le Labo des histoires based on the date and time recorded by the server when the participant submits their text via the competition web page.
ARTICLE 3 – AIM AND TOPIC OF THE COMPETITION
The “ENCORE!” writing competition is organised by the Labo des histoires in the context of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The aim is to inspire and encourage the practice of creative writing and to collect written contributions on the theme of sport from young people and adults around the world.
Participants are invited to submit texts on the following topic:
In a short, high-impact message that you would like to see displayed on the streets of Paris during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, tell us how your body expresses hope, effort, perseverance, performance, injury or any other aspect related to sport and the Olympics.
ARTICLE 4 – AIMS
The aims of the competition are to:
• inspire a love of language and poetry among children, teenagers and adults around the world
• popularise the practice of creative writing
• spark an interest in sport among young people from all countries.
ARTICLE 5 – COMPETITION SPONSORS
The competition is organized by Labo des histoires with the support of Théâtre de la Ville, Paris Université Club and Mairie de Paris. In France, the competition is supported by RATP, CROUS, Red Star Football Club and Fédération française des clubs omnisports. Internationally, it is supported by Institut Français de Paris, partners in the « Writing our World » network, NOMAD EDUCATION and various cultural and associative structures.
ARTICLE 6 – CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
The competition is open to all natural persons, without restrictions relating to age, nationality or geographical location.
Participation in the competition is open to everyone, on an individual basis and free of charge. Texts must be submitted in digital format, online via the website of Le Labo des histoires. By confirming their participation, participants agree to the potential dissemination of their texts to the general public either orally or in digital or paper format or their publication on the websites of Le Labo des histoires and their partners or in an anthology of the winning texts.
Participation in the competition implies irrevocable and unconditional acceptance of these rules.
Participation in the competition is strictly individual and nominative.
Failure to comply with the conditions set out in these rules will result in the participant’s entry being declared null and void.
ARTICLE 7 – HOW TO TAKE PART
Participants must submit their text either via the web page dedicated to the competition: https://labodeshistoires.com/concours/concours-encore/ or by uploading their text in a PDF file on the competition web page.
Text length
Each version of the text (French and native language) must be between 100 and 250 characters, including spaces.
Language
Entries must be submitted in French and in the participant’s native language or chosen dialect. The two versions must be similar in content; the French version must correspond to the version in the native language. Texts that do not correspond in the two languages will be eliminated.
Required information
The following information is required to enter the competition, and must be provided via the competition website:

– Date of birth
– Email address
– Town/city of residence
– Country of residence
– Title of the text
– The text
ARTICLE 8 – CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF TEXTS
Entries will be judged on the basis of the literary creativity demonstrated by the participants, the originality of their ideas and their relevance to the topic announced (and explained in the accompanying guidelines). All entries will be checked for plagiarism and uncredited citation (irrespective of length) of third-party works using online plagiarism detection services.
We draw the attention of candidates to the fact that a minimal number of errors or typing mistakes will be accepted. However, a text that in the opinion of the jury contains an excessive number of grammar or syntax errors may be withdrawn from the competition.
ARTICLE 9 – SELECTION AND SHORTLISTING OF TEXTS
Texts entered for the competition will be transferred directly to Le Labo des histoires via the website. Le Labo des histoires will check that the texts in the two languages (French and native language) are comparable, and that the text complies with the length constraint (maximum 250 characters, including spaces). Texts that fail to comply with these criteria will be eliminated.
The team at Le Labo des histoires will select a shortlist of texts and submit them to the national jury. The jury is made up of representatives from the competition partners, Le Labo des histoires, the Paris Université Club and the Théâtre de la ville.
After the winners are announced, a selection of texts will be displayed in public places across Paris.

ARTICLE 10 – WINNERS
The shortlisted texts will be published on the website of Le Labo des histoires.
The winners selected by the jury will see their texts displayed in French and in their native language in public places across Paris during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
ARTICLE 11 – NOTIFICATION OF THE WINNERS
The winners will be notified by email.
ARTICLE 12 – PUBLICATION / DISSEMINATION OF THE TEXTS
The competition organisers reserve the right to publish and disseminate the texts as follows: publication of an anthology, dissemination via the media and means of communication used by the competition organisers and partners. Such publication will not give rise to any form of remuneration.
ASSIGNMENT OF COPYRIGHT FOR TEXTS PRODUCED DURING THE WORKSHOPS
I hereby assign to the Association Le Labo des histoires, as well as to its partners and representatives, all copyrights attached to the written productions that I will produce or that will be produced as part of the ENCORE Competition. The assignment includes all copyrights and in particular the rights to reproduce, represent, digitise, duplicate, print or record, publish, distribute, adapt and modify the written productions on all current or future media, and in particular on paper, computer and digital media, in all formats and in order to enable the Association to promote its workshops and distribute them (the « Assignment »).
The Assignment is valid for all countries for the duration of the protection granted to authors by French and foreign legislation and is granted free of charge.
ARTICLE 13 – CONSULTATION OF THE COMPETITION RULES, DISPUTES
Participation in the competition implies full and complete acceptance of these rules. The rules are available for consultation throughout the competition on the competition website. Participants in the competition agree to the automated processing of their personal data and the transfer of non-exclusive rights to the texts submitted to the competition organisers. Any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of these rules will be resolved unilaterally by the organisers. Le Labo des histoires reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, suspend or cancel the competition without notice for any reason, and may not be held liable in any way. Entrants will not be entitled to any form of compensation.
ARTICLE 14 – PUBLICITY
These rules, the contact details and the latest information about the competition will be published on the website www.labodeshistoires.com and on any other platform that the organisers deem useful.
ARTICLE 15 – DATA PROCESSING
In compliance with the Federal law No. 152 of 27 July 2006 on personal data, participants have the right to access and modify their data. Participants wishing their data to be removed from the list and not communicated to any third parties should send their request in writing to: Labo des histoires, 161 rue Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris, France.
In compliance with Article 26 of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing, Data Files and Individual Liberties, French participants have the right to access and rectify their data.
